You usually get access to the forum when you register your license to run their software.

All I wanted was to see if someone had solved the same specific problem I had, not to post on any threads. Stupid website prompts me to create an account (password verification and all that) in order to read the thread, and once I do, it tells me that I gotta spend hundreds of bucks JUST TO READ A SINGLE PARAGRAPH.
It’s amazing that your strategy as a company is to get people to pirate your software and never buy anything from you ever, but whatever, if that’s your marketing philosophy then that’s what I’ll do.

there are two types of grooves that can appear in the Bandmate groove browser.
– Toontrack EZkeys MIDI from your Grooves library that matches the rhythm (transients) in the imported source file. Bandmate may automatically modify the grooves to better match the rhythm in certain cases even before you start using the amount knobs.
– User MIDI from your user libraries.

The groove controls will manipulate the groove that EZkeys 2 matched your idea to.
Note Amount: The Note Amount knob will tell the Bandmate algorithm to use more or less notes based on the accents, transients, and notes that Bandmate finds in your source material.
Octave: Transpose the generated groove up or down in octaves.
Edit: The Edit knobs and settings controls the timing and velocity of the groove.

BR,
John

After the bandmate analyzes my audio file, does it offer rhythmic grooves based on its own libraries or is it possible to get the groove of my analyzed audio file? Or both? And how to do this? Or am I missing something? Thank you.

With respect to the pirating issue, you are locking out people who have actually purchased one of your products. Are these the people you are worried will pirate?

It’s especially frustrating since tips about one product might be useful to owners of another product. For example there might be something discussed in the superior drummer forum which could apply to someone using ez drummer.

seriously, reconsider this policy. It’s not a good look.

https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/more-dark-midi-ezkeys-or-guitar-products/#post-3349130 <![CDATA[More Dark MIDI EZKEYS or Guitar Products]]> https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/more-dark-midi-ezkeys-or-guitar-products/#post-3349130 Fri, 20 Dec 2024 02:37:43 +0000 frank bell This is coming from someone who owns probably at least 50% of Toontracks products but also uses many of TT competitions products with pretty substantial investments and also market and capability research.

Considering more metal, dark, cinematic, theatrical progressive EZKEYS midi options might be a good idea. I primarily use EZKEYS midi to write with a wide variety of virtual guitar instruments.

What would really be great would a line of midi that works with guitar virtual instruments. Chord progressions, arpeggios riffs dark, solos and metal or theatrical and progressive.

Even a GTRX line,

I think the market for guitar chord progressions, melodies arpeggios and solos would be huge. Just think of the different styles of guitarists. from Hendrix to Randy Rhodes to VH to Metallica Megadeth, and on an on. I think that would be a fascinating line. I’d be happy to participate in any beta testing. There is not alot going on for quality metal style midi. I know there are alot of dynamics in guitar bends, slides etc. But to me not as important as the chord progs melodies and riff lines. Even jumping on board with the randomized generation of melodies and chord progs with thin A GTRX packages. Man how great would that be.

Some of your competitors in the midi world are beginning to offer products with random midi generation. calling it AI but I am not so sure it’s AI. Again I’d be happy to provide my opinions on the the good and bad of competitors products and the good and bad of TT products.

I would also strongly recommend having the drummer who played on SDX rock foundry to create another midi pack. An extended pack.

I am reaching out to pre sales looking for something is specific but I already know you don’t have it :).

But a coupon would be a nice gesture for a dedicated customer like myself.
