Hey all,
I built a new computer and unauthorized everything on the old one, using the software manager.
I always use the software manager. This has worked plenty of times but it has also caused this issue once before a while back. I contacted tech support that time and they cleared it up for me. I put in a form post on the websites CONTACT section and am waiting to hear back this time again.
I’m not sure why it got tripped up this time but I can’t authorize anything except for a few random purchases. It’s hit or miss.
I’m not showing any lingering computers on the web interface or my software manager. When I try to manually activate them it shows that I have zero of two authorizations used.
Anybody know a fix for this while I wait for customer support?
Thanks for your time and help!
Hi,
I have cleared your Inactive Authorizations.

Thank you very much, John. I really appreciate it.
This computer is still in flux as far as waiting on some water cooling components. I may change the boot drive so I’m worried about getting hung up again. I’ve had a good run of this not happening to me.
Should I go ahead and activate them using the software manager?
If for some reason, I DO need to change my disk drive configuration in this DAW/Video Editing/Gaming PC, if things get hung up again, is it a huge issue?
What’s the proper protocol to ensure smooth authorization again? I like to install my DAW and all these plugins on my boot drive (extremely low latency optane drive). I don’t like to install things in places the DAW isn’t expecting them but if installing all of this to an external drive would help, I’m willing to give it a try.
Lately my PC build has been in flux. I’ve been using the software manager to authorize everything and that usually takes care of it. I’m just worried about bugging you guys too much :/
Thanks again. I’m excited to dig in.
All the best,
Troy
