Ez bass going back to bar 1. Is there any way to locate where clicked?

  I can’t seem to be able to click anywhere in the grid editor or the song track without it going all the way back to bar 1. Is there a way to play from where the cursor is located? I’m using Cubase and it is NOT set to cursor “return to start”   Thanks!
