Any tips on stopping an E-drum kick pad slipping backwards when you’re playing?

  I was thinking of buying a kettle bell and putting it on the kick pad (Roland KD-10), but I was wondering if there is a better method? I can see there is a mat you can buy from Roland that works well with the velcro, but it’s £100+. I would love the upgraded kick pad anyway but for now I’m just looking for an easy solution to stop the thing moving backwards when you’re playing. I’m stuffing a load of old magazines and an anti slip pad at the moment, but it doesn’t work that well. Any help would be absolutely fantastic.
