We recommend using them with Toontrack software for the best compatibility and functionality. However, if you wish to use the MIDI files in another program, you can manually copy them from the Contents folder.

The actual MIDI files are located in the MIDI subfolder. Some subfolders may contain only .header files, this is normal, but the .mid files will be located in the appropriate folders within the same directory.

Please note that EZbass and EZkeys MIDI packs require the corresponding Toontrack software to access and use their built-in grooves.

In other words, are these midi files (.mid) locked into Toontrack software, or can I use them independently of the software? I’m interested in buying several different midi packs from your website.

do you mean the ‘Fusion Grooves’ MIDI Pack? No, Pete Riley is the drummer behind the grooves in the Fusion EZX and Luke Oswald has recorded the Fusion Grooves, Linear Fusion, etc.

BR,
John

When I log in in the webshop, I see the New York Studio midi libs (1, 2, 3) are for sale to my account. These are the core midi libraries that come with Superior Drummer. So I wonder what use would it be to have it for sale as a midi pack for Superior Drummer owners? They already own it! I presume they are there for sale to EZDrummer owners, so I can run them in EZDrummer 3? I would buy them, even if with reduced functionality I guess, since I am fond of Nir Z and it is a massive library. But in the webshop, about other midi addons, Toontrack explictly writes that a midi lib is for both EZdrummer and Superior, so why is nothing written in these New York Studio midi libs?

So the question is: can I run the New York Studio midi in EZDrummer 3? Which reduced functionality should I expect?

Next question: if anybody owns both EZDrummer and Superior, are these midi libraries the same content as the core lib in EZdrummer, which was also played by Nir Z?

Does anyone know if there is a MIDI pack available with a drum pattern the same or similar to “The Beds Too Big Without You” by The Police? Just asking…
